Con un m\u00e9todo excepcional analiza la estructura de cada uno de esos magn\u00edficos ejemplos de retablos barrocos, identificando casi en su totalidad las im\u00e1genes en ellos colocadas y ofreci\u00e9ndonos adem\u00e1s un esbozo biogr\u00e1fico de cada una de ellas. Todo lo anterior ayuda, en mucho, a la valoraci\u00f3n de este singular conjunto que se ha conservado casi intacto desde su construcci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, como introducci\u00f3n, trae una historia muy bien documentada y amena del edificio con informaci\u00f3n consultada en archivos muy poco conocidos, lo que viene a ser una gran aportaci\u00f3n, incluso para el investigador. En esta segunda edici\u00f3n se dan a conocer nuevos datos que en el lapso que medi\u00f3 de la primera edici\u00f3n a la fecha fueron encontrados tanto por la autora como por otros investigadores.
