Un grupo humano que deviene en colectivo individualizado y sujeto naturalmente pobre y sin agencia, marginado y necesitado, se metaforiza en el diagn\u00f3stico de una extendida realidad ind\u00edgena: el otom\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Con gran maestr\u00eda anal\u00edtica, Hayde\u00e9 L\u00f3pez Hern\u00e1ndez deshoja pacientemente la que, a principios de los a\u00f1os 1950, Rodr\u00edguez present\u00f3 como una &#8220;imagen desnuda y cruda&#8221; del Mezquital, desde el exitoso dramatismo narrativo que caracteriza La nube est\u00e9ril, sus notas period\u00edsticas y los fotorreportajes publicados en el entonces espacio privilegiado de la cultura visual moderna, las revistas ilustradas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Movi\u00e9ndose con destreza y pericia en el delicado \u00e1mbito de las conceptualizaciones y resignificaciones de lugares y gente, desgranando la compleja relaci\u00f3n entre ficciones, realidades y testimonios, la autora recompone con minuciosidad el proceso de construcci\u00f3n de ese retrato del Mezquital.
