Este trabajo explora la persistencia de asentamientos como un fen\u00f3meno tanto tangible como intangible en arqueolog\u00eda, considerando c\u00f3mo lugares habitados generaci\u00f3n tras generaci\u00f3n pueden continuar existiendo en la memoria colectiva, incluso despu\u00e9s de ser abandonados. Se analiza si esta persistencia es el resultado de condiciones deliberadamente creadas por sus habitantes o simplemente el resultado de circunstancias favorables.<\/p>\n
