En la pr\u00f3xima sesi\u00f3n del Seminario Historia de la Miner\u00eda en M\u00e9xico y Regiones Comparadas estar\u00e1 como invitado\u00a0Gerardo Necoechea Gracia,\u00a0<\/strong>autor de\u00a0Santa B\u00e1rbara Rebelde. Historia oral de la insurgencia sindical en un\u00a0pueblo minero, 1970-1990,\u00a0<\/strong>obra que recopila testimonios\u00a0 de quienes residieron en la regi\u00f3n minera Santa B\u00e1rbara, ubicada al sur de Chihuahua.<\/p>\n

El libro es producto de la historia oral narra las experiencias de mineros j\u00f3venes que, en los a\u00f1os setenta del siglo pasado, decidieron oponerse al liderazgo local y nacional del sindicato, porque sent\u00edan que esos l\u00edderes no representaban su inter\u00e9s como trabajadores. Durante diez a\u00f1os, a trav\u00e9s de dos largas huelgas y continuos enfrentamientos con patrones y charros sindicales, estos j\u00f3venes tejieron extensas redes de solidaridad dentro y fuera del pueblo, y conformaron un frente com\u00fan con otras secciones en el Sindicato Nacional Minero Metal\u00fargico para enfrentar a la direcci\u00f3n nacional. As\u00ed como fue \u00e9pica su batalla, fue tremenda su derrota. Los entonces mineros j\u00f3venes reflexionan hoy acerca de la importancia de lo vivido y de legar a nuevas generaciones su experiencia.<\/em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
