Heredero del ideario de la Revoluci\u00f3n mexicana, L\u00e1zaro C\u00e1rdenas del R\u00edo, presidente de M\u00e9xico de 1934 a 1940, muri\u00f3 el 19 de octubre de 1970. Durante sus a\u00f1os al frente del poder ejecutivo, el pa\u00eds vivi\u00f3 una profunda transformaci\u00f3n en todas las esferas del quehacer p\u00fablico. Su actuaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica tuvo tambi\u00e9n una gran relevancia a nivel internacional en a\u00f1os de confrontaciones ideol\u00f3gicas y b\u00e9licas. La relevancia de su gesti\u00f3n obliga a recordar su figura y a analizar la actualidad de su legado a 50 a\u00f1os de su partida.<\/p>\n
