Abstract:The objective of this article is to pay tribute to a friend and colleague Perla Valle with whom we shared a seminar on indigenous culture. Its main aim is to reveal and comment on some of the most important works published by Perla Valle during her life. Valle studied códices produced during the colonial period, particularly relating to themes of justice, indigenous justice. The article addresses primarily her studies on the Ordenanzas del Señor Cuauhtémoc, Códice Tlatelolco, Códice Tepetlaoztoc and her unfinished work on the Códice Osuna. Finally it also comments on her work with Marc Thouvenot and the Amoxpouhque proyect.
