Resumen: En 1944 se realizó la película Crepúsculo, en la que hay una secuencia muy interesante en que se plantea la necesidad de modificar los paradigmas de la Revolución mexicana, pretendiendo una vuelta de tuerca a la idea establecida como mito fundante de la nación. En este trabajo se analiza dicha secuencia en su diégesis y su mímesis y en relación con el contexto del momento, la creación en 1946 del PRI y en 1944 del Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social.
Abstract: In 1944 the film Crepúsculo was made and it included a highly interesting sequence in which the need to modify the paradigms of the Mexican Revolution is
posited by refining the conventional idea of the founding myth of the nation. The
diegesis and mimesis of this sequence is analyzed in the present study in relation
to the historical context of that time, the creation in 1946 of the Partido Revolucionario
Institucional (PRI) and in 1944 of the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social.
