Resumen: Estudio de la historia de la comunidad libanesa en México. El artículo muestra la manera en que algunos inmigrantes libaneses se adaptaron y desarrollaron un espíritu emprendedor, el cual se vio reflejado en su dedicación y constancia al trabajo. La mayoría de los libaneses se volvieron comerciantes o fundaron instituciones para vincularse con el gobierno mexicano, que apoyó a la comunidad libanesa para que se integrara al país. Se trata de un estudio de caso con base en testimonios de libaneses que se conocieron en México. Así, se expone la relevancia que esa comunidad tuvo en el crecimiento de la economía mexicana.

Abstract: Study of the history of the Lebanese community in Mexico. This article reviews the experience of Lebanese immigrants who adapted and thrived, driven by their entrepreneurial spirit, which was reflected in their dedication and steadfast work ethic. Most of the Lebanese engaged in trade and founded institutions tied to the Mexican government, which provided support for the Lebanese community, fostering its integration into the country. The article is a case study based on the testimonies of Lebanese people who met in Mexico. Thus, it shows the importance of the Lebanese community in the growth of the Mexican economy.
