Abstract:Francisco Ortiz Muñoz gave a lecture in Madrid in 1946, after which he published Criterio y normas morales de censura cinematográfica (Criteria and moral rules of cinematographic censorship). These were the years when censorship was already imposed as to add established criteria. Many films had been reviewed under the inquisitorial eye of the Film Classification and Censorship Board, but the rules were not clear. The individual concern of the censors was usual. This text represents the first systematic ideological structures for political censorship, as well as the rigid measures that became increasingly common.
